Other Points of Interest
This is one of the best fish restaurants in Gallipoli.  Surrounded by water and the harbour; you can watch the fish being landed whilst you eat.

Gallipoli and the castle.  The town is on an island and surrounded by the sea.  Access is via the bridge (left) which passes the castle which defends the access to the old town!

Some of the local fish

Nardo at night. The main square.

One of the churches in Nardo

This is a view, from one of the first floor reception rooms, looking down the drive to the gatehouse at Nigel and Elio's house.  On either side of the drive there are fields of artichokes.

Nigel & Elio's Villa.  They have been restoring the house over some time and it has incredible reception rooms with painted ceilings, a chapel, stables and stunning gardens - it is amazing!

View from the village next too Villa San Vincenzo - the sea is in the distance.

A zoom view from the same point focusing in on the town.
